Ellar L Pennington

Ella “Louise” Pennington, age 72, of Northport Alabama, reached her heavenly home on September 9th, 2024, surrounded by the loves of her life, Marc and Marcy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Murray Frank Pennington, Mattie C. Bell; her Husband, Billy R Watson and her sister Reva Joyce Baisden.

She leaves behind her two children, Marc Pennington who she lovingly referred to as “Bug” and Marcy Birmingham who she lovingly referred to as “Mouse” both of Northport. Brothers, Bill Pennington and Randy Pennington (Tammy); Nephews, Cary Baisden, Roger Baisden, Frankie Pennington, Tommy Pennington, David Pennington, Blake Pennington; Niece, Patricia Pennington; four Grandchildren, Brittaney Bobo, Brooke Hester (Tanner), Sydney Pennington and Ty Pennington; Five Great Grandchildren, Aiden Beck, Jackson Bobo, Riley-Jo Beck, Mila Dailey and Jensen Dailey. Special friends that she made family include Kathy Laughlin of Michigan and Lorrie Hale of Michigan.

Louise loved Jesus, spending time with her family, hummingbirds and fairies, and was passionate about her plants and flowers. She will forever be remembered by her laugh and her sense of humor. Anyone who knew her knew that she never met a stranger and that her door was always open to anyone and everyone. Something that she loved and lived by was being there and helping anyone who needed it. And even in the throes of dementia/Alzheimer’s, her nature to love and help others was still there. To know her was to love her and be loved by her.

Her wishes were to be remembered for the good times, the laughs and the love she shared, so the family will not be having a memorial service. If you wish you are welcome to send a flower/tree to be planted in her honor.
