Mike Beard loved and cared for his family and friends. If you were lucky enough to have received a nickname from him, then you received a gift from the heart. His love of fishing and never ending support and devotion to family set a golden example for us all. Mike was a veteran who sacrificed during a trying time. Keep a pole and hook ready for us and we’ll enjoy a heavenly fish fry when we meet again.
There will be a private graveside service on Sunday, December, 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Presbyterian Church.
Arrangements by Sunset Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be his nephews Chad Hewitt, Dewayne Evans, Donnie Smith, Russ Hewitt, Alan Hewitt and Seth Booth.
