MILLBROOK | Jewel Smith, age 89, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 with Joe Williams and Brent Missildine officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Smith; and her son, Ira H. Smith.Survivors include her daughter, Pam Wainwright (Harry); sister-in-law, Marie Smith of Mississippi; grandchildren, Danya Kitchens (Tyler), Edward Allen (Daniece), Sam Allen and Sylvia, Harry Wainwright II, Jennifer Aldridge, William Wainwright, and Thomas Wainwright; great-grandchildren, Dana Allen, Noah Allen, Therron Kitchens, and Mason Allen.Mrs. Smith was a retiree from Bellsouth and a lifelong pioneer of Bellsouth-ATT.
