NORTHPORT | Jewell Ashcraft Duncan, age 92, of Northport, died June 6, 2015, at Hunter Creek Rehabilitation. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Franconia Cemetery in Aliceville with Rev. Larry Potts officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Monday, June 8, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Newton Cartlidge and Harold D. Duncan; and parents, Wayne and Leora Ashcraft. Son: Jimmy Cartlidge, Brother W.L Ashcraft, Sisters: Elise Noland and Maurene Strawn
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Carroll (Ray) of Northport; sisters, Bessie Pettit of Tuscaloosa and Olene Collins (Gordon)of Alabaster, grandchildren, Steven Carroll (Michelle), Doug Carroll (Dana), Leslie Christian, and Leila Lewis (Mark); and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Lauren, Emily, Ethan and Elise Carroll, all of Northport; and Zane Lewis of Birmingham.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
