
Mr. Grogan is survived by his sons Thomas Edward Grogan (Naut) of Bangkok, Thailand, and James Andrew Grogan (Rachel) of Ellsworth, Michigan; his daughter Megan Grogan Junkin (Eric) of Buhl, Alabama; and grandchildren Andrew James Grogan, Brady Wayne Junkin, Adelyn Rae Grogan, Ayleana Marie Grogan: and sister Margene Bruce of Goodwater, AL, and brothers Carlton Grogan (Peggy) of Romulus, AL, and Jesse Grogan (Faye) of Moreland,
Georgia.
Jimmie Grogan was a precious soul who loved the Lord with all of his heart. He finally won his fight with Alzheimer’s and is free. I know he entered those gates with that Big sweet smile, that boisterous laugh, and was passing out those Grogan hugs left and right.
Visitation will be Monday October 17 from 6-8 at Sunset funeral home. Graveside services will be held Tuesday October 18 at 1 pm at Cornelius Chapel Baptist Church Old Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Stephen Hooks.
Pallbearers are Harrison Ward, Stewart Ward, Matthew Jones, John Earl Hayworth III, Jared Elmore, Jason Lightsey, Brad Ragsdale, Jared
Junkin, and Brad Tubbs.
Honorary pallbearers are Glenn Jones, Harry Ward, Danny Junkin, Jim
McDonough, Nathan McDonough, Derrick McDonough and his beloved Alabama Power Co-Workers.
