John William Booth

John was preceded in death by his father Gurley Booth, mother Novel Booth, sons Tim and Perry Booth. Brother Jack Booth, and sisters Christine Quimby, Vaudine Fendley, Joan Hollingsworth, and Pearlie Beard.

John is survived by his wife of 62 years Peggy Sue Booth, and son Johnny Ray Booth, brother, Mack Booth and sister Betty Bayliss. Four grandchildren, Daniel Booth, Johnathan Booth, Michael Booth and Perry Booth. Great grandchildren, Christine Booth, Caleb Booth and Trinity Booth, and several nieces and nephews.

John retired from Arvin in Fayette, Alabama. He was a 50 year member of the Gordo Masonic Lodge.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 15th at 12:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home. There will be a Graveside Service at Sunset Memorial Park 2:00 pm. Benny Quimby will be officiating.

The pallbearers are Jonathan Booth, Daniel Booth, Mark Burns, David Booth, Larry Hollingsworth, Jeff Booth, Philip Booth and Larry Hall.
