Sarah Josephine Hall, age 85, of the Mount Olive community in Northport, died Feb. 24, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Tingle and Rev. Brannon Pinion officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Mount Olive Baptist Church.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was a lifelong resident of the Mount Olive community in Tuscaloosa County and a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. She retired from Harco Drug after 46 years of service.
Pallbearers will be Michael Michaiski, Tommy Michaiski, Richard Hall, John Hall, Joey Falgout, Steve Lindsey, Jason Abernathy, and Mark Price.
Honorary pallbearers are Mr. James Harrison, Jerry Thomas, and John Perkins.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of DCH and Heritage Health Care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mount Olive Baptist Church Building Fund.
