Julie Ann Burroughs

Julie Ann Booth Burroughs, age 84 of Northport, Alabama died August 31, 2018 at Forest Manor Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at 3:00 pm Sunday September 2, 2018 at the Northport Church of God with Sunset Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:30-3:00 at the church. Rev Kenneth Andrews Rev Paul Champion and Rev Greg Strickland will be officiating

She was preceded in death by her Husband of 62 years Joseph Burroughs, parents I.D. and Anna Booth, Sister Nellie Godfrey and son in law Mike Stiteler, brothers in law Allen Burroughs, Billy Harless, Richard Godfrey and nephew Byron Goodman.

Survivors include her 2 daughters Vicky Champion (Paul), Wendy McMurtrey (Shannon), sister Jean Harless, 3 grandchildren, Breanna Lollar (Blaque) Hunter Champion (Bethany) and Blake Stiteler

5 great grandchildren Baylee Lollar, Drake Stiteler, Preslee Stiteler, Blakelee Lollar and Reese Champion

She was an active member of the Northport Church of God for over 50 years.

She was an avid Dominoes player and looked forward to the Friday night Dominoes at the church. She also could be found walking to Alice Smalleys house to play Dominoes during the week.

In the past years she was a walker and bench sitter at the University Mall. In most recent years you would find her sitting on the bench at the Walmart in Northport

Pallbearers will be Breanna Lollar, Hunter Champion, Blake Stiteler, Randy Sullivan, Larry Godfrey, Randy Booth and Jack Ross
