NORTHPORT Lenard Younghanse, age 80, of Northport, died October 16, 2013. Services will be 11 a.m. today, October 18, 2013 at Taylorville Baptist Church with Dr. Curtis Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Wofford Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Younghanse; son, Mike Meyers; grandchildren, John Meyers and Christina Meyers Sansing; and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Meyers, Ben Sansing, Noah Meyers, and Sawyer Sansing.
Lenard loved gardening, and was a faithful member of Billy Elmore Sunday Class.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Taylorville Baptist Church Building Fund.
