

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 4-6 pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday, February 14, 2022 at 11:00 am at Sunset Funeral Home with graveside to follow with Bro. Rodney Ward officiating.
Lucas is preceded in death by his special great-grandparents and his grandfather, Pawpaw Jim (Jim Taylor).
He is survived by his parents, Tim and Melinda Phillips, sister Miranda Craft (Kyle), nieces Sadie and Addi Kate Craft, grandparents JoNell Williams (Jerry), Carol Ballard (Charlie), Tim Phillips Sr. (Chere), aunts Anita Clark (Randall), Debbie Elkins (Greg), Karen Watkins (Denny), Sheila Pardue, uncles Wayne Phillips (Aimee), Rick Taylor (Angie), cousins Kemp and Kylee Phillips, Candace, Chase and Colby Thompson, Lawson and Cade Watkins, Evan and Josh Jones (Stephanie), Savannah Gregory (Taylor), and Erin Bartlett.
Lucas attended RISE as a child. He then attended Faucett-Vestavia Elementary School, followed by Collins-Riverside Middle School, and graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 2017. Lucas loved everyone he met. He never met a stranger and touched countless lives everywhere he went. He was a blessing to all who knew him. There is no doubt that he is now in the presence of the Lord.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Craft, Chase Thompson, Lawson Watkins, Colby Thompson, Kemp Phillips, and Cade Watkins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eagles Wings or the RISE Center.
