Janie was born in Echola, AL. and lived her whole life locally. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.D and Jennie Wallace. And six brothers, Tommy, B.I., Bud, James, Morris and young Ben. And one sister, Dovie. She is survived by her brother Ralph(Pat) Wallace and numerous nieces and nephews.
Janie spent her life caring for others. She retired from Bryce, where she cooked and cared for patients. Janie loved having her mom live with her, all along helping to raise her nieces and nephews.
Janie loved to travel. She traveled from the Pacific to the Atlantic. From Mexico to Canada. In later years she loved to play some slots, watch Wheel of Fortune and read her Bible.
She will be missed.
