Michael “Mike” was born in Iowa on September 8, 1941 to the late Dr. Everett Bishop Jr. and Irene Bishop. He resided in Northport where he was a Northport police officer and a member of the Amateur Radio Society for many years.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his son, Steven Bishop and his sister, Susan Sample.
He is survived by his children, David Bishop (Sharon) and Kristina Hill (Greg), several grandchildren and two sisters, Linda Judeich and Judy Self (Don).
At Mikes request, there will be no funeral or memorial services held. The family asks for prayers and comfort at this time.
