Michael Allen Meyer, age 60, of Northport, formerly of Green Bay, Wis., died May 24, 2012, at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Ill. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Meyer, and his mother, Marie Meyer.
Survivors include his wife, Cherie Meyer; his sons, Jason Meyer (Kayla) and Nick Meyer (Samantha); and his grandchildren, Micheala Meyer, Kirsten Meyer, Summer Duncan, and Jason Logan Meyer.
Michael loved his family and loved watching wrestling. He was a big fan of WWE and PCW. He loved to train dogs and was the number one fan of the Green Bay Packers. Michael served his country in the U.S. Army for more than 10 years and was stationed in Anniston.
