Oh my sweet, silly, crazy Uncle Odie.  I am so sad that you are no longer with us and that I am not there to send you a formal farewell.  I wish you would have gotten to come visit WA.  You would have loved it here, and probably would have gotten yourself a big Elk for the win.  I'll never forget our little chats and all your interesting and comical banter.  And...to see your shift from a dad to a grandpa was the most amazing transition.  I've never seen anyone light up like a Christmas tree more than when you started talking about your grandbabies.  You are forever my favorite Uncle and I regret not spending more time with you, being enlightened by your unfiltered commentary, wisdom, and opinions.  I will hold the memories of you and daddy in my heart always, closely, with love, admiration, and a bit of humor.
