Ralph Jones

Ralph Jones, age 88, passed away on November 20, 2023, at Hospice of West Alabama. He was born on February 24, 1935, in Clanton, Alabama. Ralph was a faithful greeter at Northport Baptist Church and a proud member of the Navy. He served his country with honor and dedication.

Ralph was an avid fisherman and loved to share his stories with others. He had a knack for storytelling and could captivate anyone with his tales. He will be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart, and his love for fishing.

Ralph is survived by his son, Chris (Andi) Jones, his grandson, Luke Jones, his sister, Mildred Hardy, his niece, Lori Denham, and his niece, Joanie Rollier. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Clara Jones, his wife, Susan Jones, his brother-in-law, Wayne Hardy, and his beloved granddaughter, Annika Joy Hallman.

Ralph worked on the railroads for many years, dedicating his time and skills to his career. He was a hardworking and reliable employee, always willing to lend a helping hand.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 26, at 3:00 p.m. in the Worship Center of Northport Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
