TUSCALOOSA – Sidney Monroe Watson, Jr., age 87, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died December 12, 2016, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Amson Theo Watson and one brother, A. C. Watson.
Survivors include his wife, Alma Kate Watson; three sisters, Dorothy, Meridth and Lois. Sidney enjoyed carpentry and served in the United States Air Force.
