Stella Colburn Nash

Stella Colburn Oswalt Nash, age 79 passed away October 23,2021at her residence after a lengthy battle with cancer. Service will be at Sunset Funeral Home October 26, 2021 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Piney Woods Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Nash was born in Tuscaloosa, Al on February 16,1942, to Albert and Christine Colburn, she attended Tuscaloosa County High School and was a graduate of the class of 1960. Mrs. Nash is preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Nash, her parents, brother Paul Colburn and Sister-in-law Myrtle Colburn.

She is survived by her children Cindy (Jimmy) Gilliam of Kennedy, AL, Phillip (DeAnna) Oswalt, and David

(MaLessia) Oswalt of Northport, AL. Grandchildren Laura (Drew) Jaudon, Jeremy Gilliam, Weston (Courtney) Oswalt, Anna-Grace Oswalt, Erin Oswalt, Kristen Oswalt, Sarah Oswalt and Miley Oswalt. Great grandchildren, Raegan, Elijah, Riley Jaudon, and Thaiden Oswalt. Sister Sherry Gaddy, John Oswalt father of her children and a host of nieces and nephews, friends and classmates.

Pallbearers will be family and friends, Honorary Pallbearers are TCHS class of 1960, neighbors of Twin Mano, doctors and staff of Lewis and Faye Manderson center, staff of Amedisys hospice and staff, special friends, Joyce Campbell, Cheryl Davis, Jane Faucett, Penni Jones and Peggy McKnight.

The family would also like to thank the staff from Barbara Ford's " A Touch of Love " as well as Tina Jones and Sue Pate for your help over these past months.
