Sue Wright Maxwell

Sue Wright Maxwell, age 91 of Northport passed away at her home April 17, 2021. Mrs. Maxwell was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Idaree Chrisman, husband, John B. "Buddy" Maxwell, brothers, Charles Chrisman and Bob Chrisman; sister, Dean Lentz. She is survived by her children, Lynn Lee (Allan), Bruce Wright and Lori Wright; Grandchildren, Lauren Hall, Jennifer Lee, Taylor Snider (Zac), Alexandra Wright Great granddaughter, Remi Lee Snider. Mrs. Maxwell was a lifelong member of Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Northport, AL and was very involved in her McCollum Sunday School class. Sue enjoyed playing tennis into her 70's. Mama Sue, as she was affectionately known, loved playing Bridge and meeting her friends for her "Margarita Lunch Bunch." She and Buddy enjoyed dancing, traveling and spending time with their family and friends. She was an avid Alabama Football Fan. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM from Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Northport. The family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. John Drawhorn officiating. Serving as pallbearers are, Davis Maxwell, Stuart Maxwell, Conner Liles, Joe McDonald, Dick Slattery, Zac Snider.
