Terry Morrison

Terry L. Morrison, age 56, of Tuscaloosa, went home to be with the Lord April 5, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Englewood Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Richards officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Nathaniel Morrison; his mom, Maggie Morrison; and his brother, Ellis Ray Morrison.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon J. Morrison of Tuscaloosa; his brothers, Richard N. Morrison (Juanita), Larry D. Morrison (Cherry), Roger G. Morrison, and Dennis D. Morrison (Valeria); his sister-in-law, Gilda Morrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who were cherished by "Uncle T".

He was my beloved friend and companion. He was the love of my life, and I will always love him. –Shay.

Pallbearers will be Brian Morrison, Ronnie Morrison, Ed Golden, Brett Morrison, Josh Morrison, Scott Quinn, Wesley Jackson, and Sean Kemp.

Honorary pallbearers are Ben and Melissa Boarders, Jeremy Morrison, Glenn Morrison, KC, Jann "Hound Dog" Sides, all coworkers of JVC, all K-Mart staff, and members of Englewood Baptist Church.

The family gives special honorary mention to Addison Elizabeth, Grand T's special baby girl.
