A visitation for Wayne will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
Wayne was married to Romi Nabors for 62 years. They adopted a son Christopher Lyn who passed away at the age of 41.
Wayne and his wife Romi were saved by the Lord Jesus at Chapel Hill Baptist church on the same day in 1964.
He was called into ministry a year later by the lord., after attending school at Baptist Bible College in Fl. William Cary College in Ms. New orleans Theological Seminary. He pastored churches in the New Liberia, La and Tuscaloosa churches. His love and special gift was sharing his faith and winning people to the Lord.
