Alan Dutka passed away from a long illness. Alan is survived by his wife Marjorie Joseph Dutka of Montville, his son Shane Peter Dutka and his wife Terry Melissa of Moodus, and mother Florence Garrity Dutka of Essex. He was pre deceased by his father Walter John Dutka and his brother Michael Walter Dutka. Alan was raised in Essex, CT and resided in Montville for the past 14 years.
Alan was retired from CT Dept. of Transportation with 24 years of service. Prior to DOT he worked at Uraco of Deep River for 17 years.
Alan was a 15 year member at the Chester Pfife and Drum Corp and a member of the S-X Sportsmens Association for 30 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and was looking forward to traveling.
Alan and Margie were wed on September 9, 1989 in Waterford, CT.
