Bernadine Frances Elliott

Bernadine will be remembered for her boundless creativity and exceptional talent in planning family events. She had a unique gift for making Christmas and all holidays truly special, not just for her immediate family, but for friends and extended family members as well.

Bernadine is survived by her life partner, Richard Clapper, daughters Tamara Elliott, and Tisha Gomery, sister Lynn Zanolli, niece Sabrina Smarse as well as her daughter-in-law, Andrea LeClair and was predeceased by her son, Thomas Elliott. Among those who will miss her dearly are her cherished grandchildren: Ashli, Nathaniel, Alexandra, Cassandra, Rowan, Jack, and Tiffany. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous extended grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved deeply.

A proud graduate of Three Rivers College, Bernadine dedicated much of her professional life to the Defense Contract Management Agency and the Navy Special Operations (NSEO) where she was responsible for quality assurance oversight of Navy nuclear and critical non-nuclear/Level I Submarine Safety components at essential shipbuilding defense suppliers. She took immense pride in her work and made significant contributions during her tenure.

Bernadine will be cherished and missed deeply for the love, joy, and warmth she brought into our lives.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 23rd at 1:00 PM at the Cathedral of St. Patrick, 213 Broadway, Norwich, CT.
