

He was born in Potsdam, NY on November 17th, 1944 to the late Bernard and Mabel (Berry) Gilbow. After high school he served his country in the US Marine Corp until his Honorable Discharge. He spent his life working as a self-employed carpenter and entrepreneur of a record shop called Just A Dream Records.
Bernard was married to Betty (Menard) Gilbow in 1969 who predeceased him. Together they raised their son, Bernard Gilbow Jr and enjoyed family time traveling, attending car shows, collecting records as well as running the family hobby and record stores.
He is survived by his son Bernard Gilbow Jr and his wife Paula along with many friends and extended family.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, June 1st at 10am at St. Joseph Cemetery, 815 Boswell Ave., Norwich, CT.
