Christopher Urbinati Jr

He was the son of Chris Urbinati Sr & Tracey Desjardin. He attended Sayles Elementary School in Sprague and NFA before moving to California to attend Los Angeles City College to study music production and guitar performance. He was employed at The Edison in LA and performed with the band Into Orbit.

Chris’ interest in music developed at an early age learning to play the trumpet. Soon he began playing guitar becoming an accomplished guitarist. He composed and recorded his own music in many different styles including rock, acoustic, funk and electronic. Christopher performed and collaborated with many musicians in both CT and CA.

Additionally, Christopher loved baseball, soccer and basketball as a child. He continued playing baseball in LA in the adult league. He was involved in scouting as a child and was fond of nature and the outdoors. He especially enjoyed being at the beach or camping and fishing with family and friends.

Christopher is survived by his parents, his grandmother, Judith Higgins of Norwich, grandmother; Barbara (Richie) Sapieha of Norwich, sisters; Mikinzie Urbinati of Norwich, Alyssa Urbinati of Norwich, a brother Kyle Urbinati of Norwich, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be sadly missed by his girlfriend, Sara Lenney.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10am to 11am at Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Av., Norwich, CT with a Memorial Service beginning at 11am. Burial is private at the convenience of the family.
