

He was born November 5, 1932 in Windsor Locks, CT, the son of the late Clyde and Annie (Barnaby) (De Gray) Clark.
He served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in October 31 1952
He married Veronica Anne Rivard October 13, 1956. She survives him.
He worked as an optician since 1960 and was last employed at Walmart for 22 years. Clyde had a passion for fishing and was a member of the Griswold Fish and Game. Being a Jack Daniels aficionado, he was an honorary Tennessee squire, He also was an avid Bowler and a board member of the Lower Fairfield County Bowling Association(LFCBA),
In addition to his loving wife Veronica, he is survived by his children Clyde P. De Gray Jr, of Seymore, Brenda S. De Gray of Norwich, Kevin C. De Gray of Bellingham, MA, Keith G. De Gray of Deerfield, VA, Sharon E. De Gray-Wolf of Norwich, and Joel W. De Gray of Norwalk. He is also survived by his brother Robert T. Clark of Ellington CT and by his 13 grandchildren; Amber, Clyde V, Griffin, Preston, Kevin, Kendra, Kasandra, Phylicia, Travis, Keith II, Kristopher, Joel II, Meghan and his 10 Great grandchildren; Ashley, Lyllian A., Lillian E., John (Jack) , Gavin, Gwendolyn, Zoey, Hunter, Kiera and Gabriel. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by his step-father Melbert G. Clark.
Calling hours will be held at the Labenski Funeral Home on Thursday, June 9 from 5 to 9 pm. The funeral will assemble at the Labenski Funeral Home on Friday, June 10 at 9am and proceed to an 11 am Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Norwichtown. Burial will be private for the family.
