Norwich CT passed Friday February 22, 2013. Our father was born in Shenandoah, PA the son of Alice Ansbach Sasarak,
who passed when he was 7, and was raised by his aunt, Frances Ansbach. At 17 he
joined the Navy and proudly served in the submarine service through WWII. He
married Marion Miller in 1946. He was predeceased by Marion, and 2 sons David
George Sasarak and Frank John Sasarak. He is survived by his sister, Rosalie
Mier, children Mark and Nancy Sasarak, Melissa and Chad Colter, Mary Jane
Sasarak, and Sherri Srednicki, 9 Great Grandchildren, 11 Grandchildren, and numerous
nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday February 27th from 5-7 PM at Church and Allen Funeral Home Norwich, CT. There will be a graveside
service with Military honors held on Thursday February 28th at 11 AM
