She was born in Norwich on Feb. 20, 1932. Later, she married her beloved husband Richard Adamec Sr who predeceased her.
Helene worked for many years as an Inspector for the former Thermos Co and in Housekeeping at Backus Hospital but her primary concern and passion was caring for her family who she loved dearly. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Greenville and a member of the Rosary Society. She also enjoyed playing bingo whenever she could.
She is survived by her son; Richard Adamec Jr, daughters,, Helene Ryan, Diane and Kathy Adamec, one brother; Peter Olenkiewicz, a sister; Cebe McConkey, a special aunt-in-law; Estelle Gunerman and several grand, great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Besides her husband, she was also predeceased by her daughters; Marie and Cheryl Adamec.
