He was born in Malden, Mass. to Edward and Marguerite (Groves) Glennon.
He was a 1977 graduate of Ledyard High School. Jeff had a very strong work ethic. He considered himself an "AV Guy" but he was very talented in many different fields!
He worked in security at EB and then at Foxwoods. He trained at the Connecticut State Police Academy before becoming a police officer for the Mashantucket tribe and then joined the tactical team for EB security. He also worked in IT at Pfizer, STERIS and EB where he eventually became the "Phone Guy." His favorite career was working at the Mystic Aquarium where he got to combine all his interests: IT security, AV, wireless networks, live streaming lessons to schools, working with animals and mentoring young people. He considered the team at the Aquarium to be his family. He said that was the best job he ever had!
Jeff is survived by his wife Heather Bean; his brother Edward Glennon; his children, Alexandra, Erik (Kleven) and Cay Glennon; as well as, his step-children, Kelly and Lily (Yuri) Bean; nieces, Jessica and Raelissa Glennon; and three grandsons.
Jeff enjoyed traveling all over the country with Heather to Marfan Foundation conventions and visiting museums and aquariums. He was an avid photographer. He loved nature shots and shooting events. He had a dark room and was quite adept at developing his own film. He always had a camera in his hand!
Jeff was a kind man; he was smart, funny, jovial, dependable, friendly and supportive. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and made friends quickly. He was always glad to help you out and go the extra mile. Our world was a better place when he was in it.
