Joanna E Phillips

Born October 2, 1970 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late George T. and Eugenia G. Phillips of Stamford, CT. She attended Stamford High School and the University of Connecticut.

She was a devoted mother who loved her daughter more than anyone could imagine. She was a loving daughter, sister, cousin and friend with a passion of art, music, animals, and fashion; and not to forget, she was playfully named the “Imelda Marcos of CT” by her brother for her love of shoes!

Joanna is survived by her brother Theodore G. Phillips of North Conway, NH, and her daughter Eugenia G. Phillips, and countless cousins, aunts/uncles, nieces/nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, George T. and Eugenia G. Phillips.

Memorial Services to be held on Monday, August 21 at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Norwich, CT. Visitation at the church will be from 10am until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow at Memorial Cemetery in Norwich, CT. .
