Ken was a long-time resident of Norwich. He is predeceased by his mother, Lela Patterson, father, Homer Stiwinter, Brother, Earl Stiwinter, and sister, Laverne Key. He is survived by his son Timothy Chominski and his wife Jennifer of Uncasville, Brother, Curtis Stiwinter of Coventry, Nephews, Danny Stiwinter of Norwich and Rob Stiwinter of Oakdale, Nieces, Crystal Key of Norwich, and Kimberly Key (Mark Bland) of Preston. Ken is also survived by his sister-in-Law Fran Stiwinter of Oakdale, and brother-in-law Lon Key of Coventry RI.
Ken was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and was retired from Pratt and Whitney.
There will be a celebration of life planned in lieu of calling hours, along with a graveside service.
