Larry was deceased on May 27, 2016 at his home in Ledyard Connecticut at the age of 72. He was born September 24, 1943 and was in the care of Hospice and his longtime companion Katherine Roy. Larry worked and captained the R/V UCONN over 40 years after serving 4 years in the U.S. Navy. Survivors are Katherine Roy, 2 sons, Larry and Leland Burch, a brother Richard Burch, a sister Bonnie Rooney, a daughter-in-law Danielle Burch, 5 grandsons, a niece and nephew. There will be no Church services or viewing as per the request of the deceased. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice.
