Lena DeLucia Pace

Pace- Lena Madeline (DeLucia) Pace- 102 of Norwich died Wednesday Oct. 29, 2014. She was the widow of Dominic J. Pace. Lena was born in Norwich, daughter of Nicholas and Julia DeLucia. She was a machine operator at the Werman Shoe Factory until her retirement. She is survived by her brother John DeLucia of Norwich, Paul and Judy Sas who were her caretakers, and numerous others nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brothers, Peter DeLucia, and Joseph DeLucia, and was also predeceased by her sisters, Dolly Renaldi, Josephine Sas, Mary Sforza, Celia Thomas, and Frances DeVanno. Visitation will be Monday Nov. 3, 2014 from 8:45-9:45 a.m. at the Labenski Funeral Home 107 Boswell Avenue Norwich followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Cathedral Norwich. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Norwich. The family would like to thank the Staff at Orchard Grove Speciality Care Center for their loving care and compassion given to Lena a resident there for the past 2 years.
