Son of Harry A. and Muriel Benson, Mark was a world-class singer, songwriter, musician and poet. He's been called the world's worst fisherman, but he was a fisher of men who cast a wide net over far too many to list.
Among those left to miss him are his daughter Kellie Benson, grandson Dominick Ventura, life long friend and brother Scott Lawton and his wife Kate who is comforted knowing he's in a safe place til we meet again.
"I still believe a young boy's dreams will keep me when I'm old."
A memorial gathering will be planned for a later date.
