Mark Ropi

Mark was born in Framingham, MA on May 29, 1948 to the late Stavre and Elizabeth (Thomas) Ropi. After completing high school, Mark went into the food service and restaurant business becoming a Chef.

On Sept 21, 1969 he married his beloved wife Phyllis (Dogil) at St. Mary’s Church, Uxbridge, MA. She survives him. When not working, Mark loved baseball, the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, sports memorabilia and was a Ted Williams fan. He also enjoyed golfing and spending time at the ocean.

Mark is survived by his wife Phyllis, sons; Stephen Ropi and his wife Jodi, Ben Ropi, Matthew Ropi and his fiancé Michelle Bangaan, brothers; Thomas and Michael Ropi, sister; Stephanie Boutsifakos, grandchildren; Erick and Shawn Ropi, Codi, Tanner and Rylie, great-grandson; Sawyer and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov 14th from 9am to 11am at Fulton Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London with Trisagion Service at 11am. Burial is private at the convenience of the family.
