Marlene was a wonderful person. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her friends and family. My heart goes out to those who were closest to her, especially her children, grandchildren and siblings, during this difficult time.

Years ago I use to stay with her in the summer to babysit the boys, we had went to a garage sale where we bought a little hand held video camera... while driving home I had the camera out acting like I was video taping everyone that we saw on the way, Marlene would wave and everyone was waving back to be on the video... it was funny! The camera wouldn’t even turn on but we never told. Thankful for the times I had with her. She always had a good heart. I Love and miss her.. prayers for her kids and grandkids... may god bring them peace and comfort for all the days ahead! You all have my sympathy. Rest easy Marlene, give Mom and Mark my love...

My sympathy goes out to all three of Marlene’s boys and their families. I’m thankful for the visits I had with aunt Marlene and will never forget the last time she was here I rode with my mom to get her to the train station so she could get back home. We talked and laughed the entire ride there and mom and I gave Marlene lots of grief when she made us stop at a “sketchy” gas station. She of course gave it right back to us. I don’t think we stopped laughing until she stepped on the train. Marlene looks so much like my grandma that the first time I met her, she was asleep on our couch as she had gotten in in the middle of the night, but my sister, Dawn, and I went running up to the couch yelling Grandma, grandma! Only to hear grandma answer us from the kitchen and then realize it was a much younger version of grandma on the couch! She was a great person and I’m saddened that I’ll no longer have the chance to talk and laugh with her, but I know she is in a much better place than we are and God only takes the best!
