Patricia T. Crowe (Pat), age 76, of North Franklin, passed away at her home on March 21, 2026. She was born on November 17, 1949 in Norwich to the late James and Katherine (Tumath) Bernabeo. She was married to John Crowe for 55 Years.
Patricia graduated from Norwich Free Academy, Class of 1967 and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in 1971 and her Master’s of Education from Eastern Connecticut State College in 1973. She worked as a teacher’s aide in Kindergarten in the Canterbury Public School System while at Eastern. She taught 2nd grade at Griswold Elementary school for 35 years, earning Teacher of the Year in 1991. She also earned the SNET Award on September 21, 1995 for educational excellence.
Besides her loving husband, she is survived by a son Zachary Crowe and his wife Angela of North Windham, grandchildren Brooklin and Lucas Crowe of North Windham, a sister Jackie Ashcraft and her husband Lee of Attleboro, MA, a sister Kathy LaFrancois and her husband Ken of Canterbury, and a niece Sherrie Willson of North Franklin.
