Patricia M. Martin

She was born April 21, 1932 in Boston, MA , the daughter of the late Eleanor McCrane.

She had worked for several years as a medical secretary in Boston, MA.

She married Ivan Martin Jr. December 28, 1957 at St. Andrews Church in Marblehead, MA.

Patricia was a very talented artist, working in many different mediums. She would gather weekly with a very close group of art friends. She served as the Past President of the Norwich Women’s City Club. As a member of the City Club, she helped take care of the flowers at the trough on Chelsea Parade. She was also very active with the Rose Arts Festival.

In addition to her husband Ivan, she is survived by her children Scott Martin of Middletown, Ellie Hynds of Norwich, and by her grandchildren Jenn, Joe, Jake, Jeff, and Jess Hynds.

Calling hours will be held at the Church and Allen Funeral Home in Norwich on Sunday evening from 4 to 7 pm.

A funeral service will be held Monday at the Church and Allen Funeral Home at 11 am. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Norwich.
