

She was born in Norwich on Dec. 8, 1929 to the late John and Viola Gocka. She was married to William Hoffner Sr., who predeceased her and was later married to Robert Perkins for 45 years.
You would always hear Pat humming or singing a song. She loved the Sunday morning polkas on the radio. She loved to play the organ and would teach her grandchildren the love of music. She enjoyed painting pictures and anything that could be painted. Pat won numerous ribbons for her work. She loved doing crafts and enjoyed learning new things. She had a green thumb and always had beautiful flowers around. She was a bird watcher and would attract them with her flowers and bird feeders. Pat was a generous person and will be sorely missed by those who loved her.
She is survived by her husband Robert, son; William Hoffner Jr., daughters; Barbara Hoffner, Cheryl Hoffner and her life long partner Tom Suchocki, Valerie Brehler and her husband Mike, Patricia Grant and her husband Jon, 8 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 15 at 10am at The Cathedral of St. Patrick, 213 Broadway, Norwich, CT with interment immediately following at St. Joseph Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
