With sadness, we report the passing of Sheldon Rothman, of blessed memory, brother of Howard (Gayle) Rothman, sister of Shirley Siegel and Alan Siegel of blessed memory and Joan (Herbert) Blank and Uncle to Michael (Lydia) Rothman, Rachel (Michael) Sackman, Hillary Rothman, Elena (Steven) Mandell, and Stephanie Hanko.
The funeral will be held, grave side, on the Preston/Norwich, Connecticut border at the Norwich Hebrew Benevolent No. 2 Cemetery, 38 Route 12, Preston, CT 06365 on Wednesday July 9, 2025 at 12:00pm. (The cemetery is located 1/10-mile North of the intersection of CT Routes 2A and 12).
After the funeral, the family will sit shiva from 3pm-9pm at their home at 10 Westerly Road, Watch Hill, Rhode Island 02891.
On Thursday July 10, 2025, the family will return to Stamford and sit shiva from 5:00-10:00pm at their home at 23 River Oaks Drive, Stamford, CT 06902. There will be a mincha and mariv service at 8:15pm conducted by Rabbi Heller of Congregation Agudath Sholom.
On Friday, the family will sit shiva in Stamford from 10:00am-2:00pm.
