Sonya A. Skindzier DIED - Dec. 16, 2014 NORWICH - Sonya A. Skindzier 73 of Norwich died Dec. 16, 2014 at Backus Hospital. She was born in Norwich daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Samokar) Skindzier. She was the former owner of the Wonder Bar in Norwich. She is survived by a brother Paul Skindzier of Norwich, a sister Anne Marie Skindzier of Norwich as well as several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday Jan. 24, 2015 at 12 noon in St. Joseph Church Norwich. Burial will be private.
