Suzanne E LaBrie

On October 1, 1965, Suzanne entered this world. She was born and raised in Norwich, CT. She graduated from Norwich Free Academy in 1983. She attended Thames Valley State Technical College, and then Ridley & Lowell later on in her life. She was employed by Lawrence & Memorial Medical Group as a billing specialist.

Suzanne loved to travel, especially to warm places. She enjoyed Virginia Beach and Florida. She spent some of her life in North Carolina, Iceland (not so warm) and Savannah, Georgia. She vacationed in Washington State and of course, Cape Cod, since childhood. Her hobbies included reading, needlepoint and shopping. She loved a good yard sale and was always on the lookout for antique glassware and a good deal.

Suzanne touched so many people's lives. She was generous to those she loved. She had such a great big heart and wanted people to be happy and always think positively. It gave her great joy spending time with her family during the holidays or during last minute get-togethers. She was especially proud and doted on her favorite and only nephew, Parker.

She will be greatly missed by her parents, Constance and Robert LaBrie; her sister, Cynthia White; her nephew, Parker White; her brother, Christopher LaBrie; her aunts, her uncles, cousins, friends and neighbors.

There will be no services, but a celebration of Suzanne's life will be held at the family home, 10 Fruitwood Drive, Norwich, on Saturday August 10th starting at 3PM. Donations to Relay for Life can be made in Suzanne's name as she too was a long-term breast cancer survivor.
