

He was born at Methodist Hospital in Gary, IN, where he attended Charles R. Drew Elementary School. In 1991, his family relocated to Connecticut, where he lived for the remainder of his life. He attended the Norwich Free Academy for High School. Taiwan became a father for the first time in 1999 to twin daughters whom he loved more than life. He then went on to meet the love of his life and wife, Jaime Faison, whom he spent 17 years and had 3 beautiful children with. Besides his wife Jaime Faison, Taiwan is survived by his mother Mary E. Faison (Goldsboro, NC), father JC Clinton Jr. (Norwich), mother in law Anne Braus (Bozrah), 3 daughters Malena Faison (Coventry), Mariah and Mya Faison., 3 sons Jaden Burns, Messiah Faison and Maison Faison, 5 sisters Kimberly Harris(Norwich), Nerkeda Simmonds(Norwich), Jakina Clinton (Norwich), Erica McCord(Gary) and Kris Youngblood (MS), 1 sister in law Erin Braus and 1 brother in law Joseph Braus, grandmother Gracie Cates (Goldsboro) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Along with biological father, Taiwan was predeceased by his father in law Mel Braus, two sisters Rickette McCord and Valerie Youngblood, cousin Kelton Oates, and uncle David Faison.
Taiwan was a devoted father whom loved his children more than anything. He was a fan of the Chicago Bears, Lebron James, and an avid fan of everything Jordan. Taiwan loved his family, who in return loves and will miss him immensely. “Forever 44”
Calling hours will be held on Sunday evening at the Church and Allen Funeral Home in Norwich from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral home service will be held at the Church and Allen Funeral Home on Monday at 11 am. Burial will follow in Bozrah Rural Cemetery in Bozrah.
