Tammy Mae Stevens 1970 - 2016 JEWETT CITY - Tammy Mae Stevens, 46, of Jewett City, CT passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 14, 2016. She was undergoing rehabilitation at Vibra Hospital in Springfield, Mass, after an unexpected illness. Tammy is survived by her son Matthew Stevens and his wife Lauren, her daughter Jennifer Stevens, her mother, Claudia Stevens Haney and Jim Hochman, her father Dave Stevens and wife Theresa, the love of her life Ganesan Muthukrishnan, her brother David Stevens and his wife Tammy, her nephews Ty Stevens and Austin Stevens, and niece Megan Stevens, her aunt Carolyn Terry and her husband Kenneth, Her uncle John McQuown and his wife Lisa, her uncle Richard McQuown and his wife Marie, and numerous cousins. Tammy was born on January 14, 1970 in New London, CT. Until her illness, she worked at Reliance House in Jewett City. She was an avid cat lover and loved Winnie the Pooh. She was a kindhearted person who made any room brighter when she walked into it. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
