

Thomas Robinson Casey, beloved husband of Lisa (Gaudreau) Casey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 10, at Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT surrounded by loved ones.
Tom was born on October 25, 1966, in New London, CT. He grew up in Norwich and made his permanent home at Sun E Hill Farm. He attended Norwich Public Schools and Norwich Free Academy, where he played varsity baseball and held the team ERA record for several years. Upon graduation, Tom followed his passion for nature and continued his education at Paul Smith’s College in the Adirondacks, majoring in forestry.
Tom was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, camping, skiing, or just a simple walk through the woods. Tom loved animals, owning several cats, goats and their beloved dog Sarah. He was a kind and compassionate soul, always looking out for the underdog. As a UPS driver, Tom easily made friends wherever he went. Dogs and people alike looked forward to Tom’s warm presence and sense of humor.
Tom leaves his wife of 29 years, Lisa Casey; parents, Beverly and Bernard Muldoon; brothers Robert Casey of Vermont, John Casey and partner Angela Berrios of Florida, and B.T. Muldoon of Haddam, CT; and sisters Mary Beth Muldoon of Windsor, CT and Anne Muldoon and her husband, Andy Proehl of San Francisco, CA. Tom was predeceased by his father John W. Casey, Jr., his sister Marie Stiles, and his brother-in-law Stephen Plant.
