

Hart- William “Bill” Hart, 90, of Quaker Hill, passed away peacefully in his home on October 2, 2014. Bill was born on October 28, 1923 in Annapolis, MD, the son of the late John and Hannah (Clarke) Hart. He was very proud of his service in the United States Navy during WWII and the Korean War and his time served on the USS Winslow. After his honorable Naval service he went to work for Pfizer for 34 years before he retired. He was the widower of his late wife Norma (Parker) Hart, after her death, making his home with his son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Sara (Rossman) Hart, and his grandsons, Braeden,Keagan, and Declan Hart. He is also survived by his sisters, Evelyn Reynolds of Manchester and Joan Weigle of Quaker Hill, his children Deborah Saylor of Columbus, GA, Robert and Richard Hart of Bremerton, WA, Kim Hart of Ashville, NC, and many nieces nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother, Robert Hart and his son William Hart. A Memorial Visitation in Bill’s honor will be held at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen 53 Norwich-New London Tpke, Uncasville on October 11, 2014 from 11:00a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with a celebration of his life to follow at the Montville Polish Club.
