Brandie was born on June 18, 1975 in Sidney the daughter of Wayne Irons and Sandra (Chapman) Irons Price. Her early years were spent in Bainbridge where she attended the Bainbridge schools before moving to Unadilla and graduating from the Unadilla High School. Following her graduation she entered the United States Army where she served her country for 2 years. Returning home she furthered her education by attending college in Oneonta and Cobleskill earning her Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry and biology. At the time of her death Brandie was employed by Kerry-Bio for 7 years as a chemist.
Brandie was a smart, non-stop, wonderful person with an infectious smile. She was always on the move and never rested. While living in Unadilla she owned and operated her own hair dressing business and was in the process of opening up Smoke & Bones restaurant. A fan of Harley motorcycles she enjoyed taking many rides. Brandie was a lover of all animals, especially horses, and enjoyed her own horse Stetson.
She will be truly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Brandie is survived by her mom and step-dad Sandra and Jim Price of Norwich, her fiancée Joshua Bowers of Norwich, sons Stuart Rudnitsky and Kyle Bowers both of Norwich, step-children Kaylie and Zane Bowers, her brothers Martin Alger and Harold Alger III, step-sister Jamie Price and step-brother Timothy Price. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
A funeral service for Brandie will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. Pastor Donald McCall, Interim Pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Sand Hill Cemetery of Wells Bridge.
Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Thursday from 11-1pm.
