
Born in Hamilton in August of 1979, Eeker was the son of James Peptis and Atha “Sue “ Campbell. He was a 1997 graduate of the Norwich High School, and worked in the telecommunications field for Telecom Systems Solutions in Sidney. A very outgoing and energetic person, Eeker enjoyed a wide circle of friends and had a ready smile.
Eeker is survived by his mom and dad, Atha “Sue” and Darrell Lawson of Norwich; by his father and step-mom, James and Georgeana Peptis of Sherburne; and by his sisters and brothers: Jeramy Peptis and companion Sarah Crawford of Norwich, Debbie Lawson of Maryland, Christine Hughes of N.C., Connie Thornton of Oregon, Dara Gibbon of Norwich, Nicole Peterson and Mickie Farrow, both of Poolville, Josh Peptis of N.C., Jason, Timothy, and Brandon Peptis, all of N.C., and Joe Pastore of McDonough. Also surviving are Eeker’s maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Campbell of Earlville, and nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
A celebration of Eeker’s life will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 21, from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeremy Stopford, pastor of the Earlville Baptist Church, will officiate. Friends are invited to call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Monday from 4-6 p.m.
