Born August 25, 1920. Wife of the late Peter J. Flaherty. Treasured mother of Barbara of Norwood and James P. of Quincy and the late Richard A. Flaherty. Devoted grandmother (“Gum”) to Peter A. Flaherty of Los Angeles, CA and Brendan R. Flaherty and his wife Elle of Chelsea, MA. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30th at 10:00am from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington Street, Norwood. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00pm at the funeral home.
