Barbara lived her life authentically and unapologetically with a unique blend of charisma and a one-of-a-kind sense of humor. Behind her occasional irreverence lay a heart overflowing with love and care, fiercely devoted to her family, a love that knew no bounds.
Barbara's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family, and her creative and entrepreneurial spirit. After graduating from Ursuline Academy in 1974, Barbara met her former husband, John Cocoris, and together they settled in Milton, MA, where they raised their two beloved sons, John (JC) and Jamie.
Barbara's entrepreneurial journey began with the establishment of BLS Creations in Faneuil Hall followed by Sweet Greetings Boutique in Milton, which later moved to Quincy. Barbara’s boutique was a staple in the Milton-Quincy community for over 15 years, offering customers unique apparel, accessories, and jewelry along with hours of entertainment and advice – whether they asked for it or not!
Barbara's legacy lives on through her children, JC Cocoris and his wife Elizabeth Arnold Cocoris, and Jamie Cocoris along with her cherished grandchildren, Elena Grace, Natalie Paris, and William John.
