Janine "Neen" Forrest

Janine E. "Neen" Forrest, age 53 of Mattapoisett and formerly of Norwood, passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday, December 28, 2024.

Born in Norwood, she was the daughter of the late Francis "Jim" and Eileen (Naughton) Forrest. Janine was a graduate of Norwood High School with the class of 1989, and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from Boston University. She worked for many years in Health Insurance Industry

She was the sister of James Forrest and his wife Jennifer, and her twin Paul Forrest and his former wife Marianne, and Neen was the proudest Aunt and supporter of her Nieces and Nephews for whom she adored with her full heart. Patrick, Paul Jr., Caroline, Sophia, and Frankie Forrest all of Norwood.

Janine loved the beach and ocean in Mattapoisett for which she had passion for sailing and the sun.

Neen had many great friends for whom she adored, as well as her cat Dilly "The Gentleman"

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, NORWOOD on Saturday January 11, 2025 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
